With easySoft, programming the devices of the ‘easy’ product range is quick and user-friendly. The available functions can be easily integrated into circuit diagrams, so that they can be used as control programs. easySoft V7 provides users with a choice of four programming languages (EDP, LD, FBD, ST), which significantly reduces the need for training. Circuit diagrams can first be tested in simulation mode and then documented later. The option to choose from various function blocks, such as data loggers and alarms, makes programming even more efficient. Projects are protected against unauthorized access by means of multi-level passwords.

From easySoft V7.30, the Modbus TCP client function is supported on the easyE4 base device. This allows the easyE4 to be used flexibly as a client or server. In addition, easySoft supports the SmartWire-DT system via the EASY-COM-SWD-C1 communication module (SWD coordinator). Similar to the SWD-Assist, the SWD participants can be completely configured via the easySoft. This means you do not need any additional software!

The easySoft has four different programming languages to offer.

With our easy device programming language (EDP), you can create and modify programs exactly as you are used to from previous devices of our 'easy' family. With the ladder diagram (LD), you can create programs based on circuit diagram logic. The function block diagram (FBD) provides a quick overview of the various functions. Lastly, structured text (ST) is available for seasoned automation professionals.

Custom Visualization with RTD Advanced

The easyE RTD Advanced is the more advanced version of the easyE Remote Touch Display (RTD), the plug-and-play visualization solution for its easyE4 control relay. This means that the easyE RTD is available in Standard and Advanced version, offering cost-effective and flexible visualization options that are quick to deploy. The RTD Advanced is a ready-to-use device that connects to the easyE4 via a standard RJ45 Ethernet cable. It is based on the latest version of easySoft software (version 8.10), which allows users to create powerful custom visualizations, import user-defined text, graphics, and operating elements, and edit timer function blocks. At the same time, the modern user interface of the RTD Advanced makes it easy to operate, without requiring any programming knowledge.

One tool for the configuration of the entire system

As of version easySoft V7.30 - can be used to configure the SmartWire-DT stations or the network. For this purpose, the functions of the SWD-Assist have been integrated into the latest version of easySoft. This means that you do not need any additional software. All SmartWire-DT components are included in the device catalog. This means that complete SmartWire-DT networks can be easily configured via the software using "drag & drop". The assignment of operands to the respective network stations is also simple and time-saving.

Support of Modbus TCP client function

From easySoft V7.30 the intuitive programming software supports Modbus TCP client function within the easyE4 base device. This enables the integration of many automation components of different levels. Modbus RTU can also be configured via easySoft, creating a higher communication solution. This way the easyE4 can access process data and status information from connected Modbus RTU device.
