Software tools for designers

xSpider

xSpider software is a graphically oriented electrical network design tool for dimensioning low-voltage networks fitted with circuit protection equipment from Eaton. It calculates voltage drops, load distributions and fault currents for radial as well as meshed networks and carries out a subsequent suitability check of the cables and protection equipment used. The software provides designers and engineers with a planning tool that ensures adherence to current standards and acceptable levels of arc-flash risk. All calculations are based on IEC standards.
