Promoting an environment for diversity businesses to thrive needs a proactive procurement strategy.  The mission of supplier diversity at Eaton is to achieve community and economic impact by including diverse companies throughout our supply base.

 

Our supplier diversity team commits to creating a sustainable diverse sourcing strategy by focusing on these objectives:

 

We strive to build strategic partnerships based on three important pillars: innovation and value; economic inclusion; and business development.

  • Increase participation of diverse businesses throughout our supply chain.
  • Set and achieve annual diverse spend targets across all areas of spend.
  • Use advanced analytics to conduct benchmarking and continuous improvement.
  • Actively participate in diversity conventions, events and education organisations.

Affiliations and certifying agencies

Eaton's award-winning supplier diversity programme is a corporate member of the National Minority Supplier Development Council and the Women's Business Enterprise National Council.

 

Certifying agencies help Eaton in maintaining its third-party verified database of diverse suppliers.
