Saving time on solar park installation really matters

The European Union’s Solar Energy Strategy is part of its REPowerEU initiative to reduce dependence on oil and gas. The goal is for 320 GW of solar photovoltaic to be newly installed and online by 2025, rising to 600 GW by 2030.

That’s a lot of new capacity, requiring the installation of thousands of modules and inverters and many kilometres of cabling. It is a huge task at a time when skilled people to do the work are in short supply.

Automation and efficient work processes will enable fewer skilled people to achieve more, fortunately, and our xSolAir compact packaging solution for PV plants can help. Completely pre-assembled, it is plug and play on site. Shipped in standard seaworthy ISO containers, xSolAir is also a sustainable choice thanks to our SF6-free switchgear.

In our whitepaper on Opportunities to reduce cost and complexity in large-scale solar PV installations , discover:

  • Delivering Europe’s 1 TW solar challange
  • Trend towards larger solar PV parks
  • How workforce, grid connection codes and standards and component quality challenges can be solved
