White paper

Using function blocks to implement flexibel and cost-effective automation projects with micro plc

Download the white paper about flexible programing of control relays with user function blocks for machines

What makes the industrial control relays stand out in particular is its wide range of programming options. The white paper describes the use of the ladder diagram, function block diagram and Easy Device Programming (EDP) languages, as well as the many possibilities of programming with structured text with the new generation of control relays.

The powerful capabilities of the easyE4 industrial control relay modules are based on their modular software components. Users can program their own function blocks, integrate them into the controller and use them across different projects. Thanks to this modular concept, the controller is highly flexible and cost-effective. What’s more, it also considerably reduces the time required for software development.

The integrated web server enables visualization via a web panel or another browser, for example on mobile devices. Function blocks can be created and managed using the easySoft 7 development tool. In addition, numerous simulation options are available to ensure safe and smooth commissioning.

This white paper was written by Ulrich Kanngießer. The author has written several books on small controllers/control relays, as well as on programming with structured text.
