The Ulusoy UMC Series metal clad withdrawable switchgear system is produced in accordance with IEC standards and suitable for a wide range of applications in primary distribution, industrial plants and infrastructure up to 36 kV. Metal clad switchgear with highest safety

Our Ulusoy UMC series is IAC classified as AFL or even ALFR, depending on the exact modifications. In the unlikely event of an arc fault, the pressure relief flaps located on the top ensure that no harm comes to the staff or surrounding switchgear. Any maneuver can only be made with closed panel doors; the mechanical and electrical interlocks further reduce the risk of wrong maneuvers. The high voltage sections are separated by earthed metal barriers with partition class PM and UMC series switchgear is equipped with an E2 class earthing switch which can withstand up to 5 short circuits.

SF₆-free switchgear

Ulusoy UMC series use environmentally friendly vacuum technology. The risk of SF₆-gas leakage is therefore eliminated completely, leading to greatly minimized maintenance and end-of-live disposal procedures costs.
