Pin and sleeve devices

Arktite Non-metallic Plugs, Receptacles and Connectors

Made of Krydon fiberglass-reinforced polyester, Crouse-Hinds series Arktite non-metallic plugs, receptacles and connectors are used to supply power to portable electrical devices such as welders, motors, pumps and conveyors.  Available in 30A, 60A and 100A, these pin and sleeve devices are ideal for use in non-hazardous areas of chemical plants, sewage treatment facilities, cement plants, pulp and paper, food processing and other industrial facilities.

Arktite non-metallic pin and sleeve devices feature an innovative arc-snuffing design that enables large power loads to be disconnected under load without causing an arc flash in the area.
