The flight-ready, turnkey Valve in Tank Assembly (VITA) satellite electric propulsion feed system is qualified in testing with Xenon and is fully compatible with Krypton, as well. VITA can be pre-filled with propellant to deliver a ready-to-install, space-grade system.
The current VITA solution has two redundant shut-off valves to support one thruster for increased reliability. The drop-in VITA design approach supports modular satellite configurations, allowing for easy architectural changes.
VITA’s efficient design saves satellite integrators significant procurement, assembly, testing, troubleshooting and rework effort.
